Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS at BairesDev

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in infrastructure as code using TypeScript with AWS CDK, and operational excellence in deploying and managing cloud-native applications. This role focuses on automating cloud infrastructure, enabling CI/CD workflows, and maintaining observability and data integrity in production systems. The ideal candidate will bring advanced skills in DevOps strategy, IaC, and experience supporting highly available systems built on Amazon Web Services. You will work cross-functionally with developers, data teams, and SREs to streamline deployments, maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, and monitor environments using observability tools like Splunk and OpenTelemetry.

What You'll Do:

- Design and implement infrastructure as code using AWS CDK with TypeScript.

- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on AWS using Lambda, ECS Tasks, and S3.

- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.

- Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment processes and improve system reliability.

- Perform database operations and basic SQL tasks with Amazon Aurora and PostgreSQL.

- Monitor production systems using observability tools like Splunk and OpenTelemetry.

- Work cross-functionally with developers, data teams, and SREs to ensure operational excellence.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering roles.

- Strong expertise in AWS CDK using TypeScript.

- Deep knowledge of AWS Cloud services, particularly Lambda, ECS Tasks, and S3.

- Familiarity with database tasks and basic SQL, experience with Amazon Aurora and PostgreSQL.

- Proven experience with automation and CI/CD using Jenkins.

- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code principles and best practices.

- Advanced level of English.
